Whilst developing the preamp for Frei Uni-Vibe, Fjord Fuzz stumbled across a rather magical sound. So they decided to take that preamp, turn it up to 11 and thus was born the Freia Fuzz, twin sister to the Frei Uni-Vibe.
Because of its preamp topology, the Freia does more than just fuzz. It'll also do beautiful characterful cleans, warm preamp tones and full-bore spitty fuzz! Feel free to experiment - either find your sweetspot or explore the range of tones hidden within this pedal - whatever you choose, we know it'll sound great!

Freia was the twin sister of Frei. She was the Goddess of Love and Fertility. While I was working away on the Frei Vibe, I discovered something very exciting: It only takes a single resistance adjustment to turn the Uni-Vibe preamp into an absolutely glorious fuzz pedal.
For your convenience, I turned the resistance in question into a variable control. This functions a bit like a bias control, so it will make scratchy sounds
as you turn it. This is normal. Within this control is a whole world of beautiful rive and fuzz textures. From fully clean, real preamp tones at one end, to an overblown, slightly gated fuzz at the other and everything in between, all useful, all very loud. I gave you volume and gain controls too, so nothing will come between you and the perfect gain sound.
It does however not like being slammed by a wah pedal, so treat it like you would treat your Fuzz Face. Stick it first in line and accept the laws of physics.
Controls
- Volume - controls the output volume of your fuzz
- Bias - left knob controls how much voltage is supplied to the circuit. All the way up, you'll get a smooth, fat sounding fuzz, or turn to the left for nasty gated, spitty fuzz
- Gain - controls the amount of fuzz, from shimmery clean to overblown wall of sound
- Bypass Switch - footswitch engages the pedal

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
