Back by popular demand the SE Bernie Marsden is a limited run PRS with some added upgrades which make this guitar one of a kind.
This time, the former Whitesnake guitarist wanted a satin neck for his signature model and it makes the guitar feel beautiful to play! It's got the powerful, warm tones that you'd expect from a PRS humbucking guitar. And the shorter scale length makes it a breeze to play.
Pro Grade, Great Value
You won't be disappointed with any part of this guitar. From the woods used to the stellar hardware, the Bernie Marsden delivers vintage power and precision. Based on the popular PRS 245 model this guitar has a 24.5" scale length for a more traditional feel while still keeping that PRS tonal character that we've all come to love.
The body and neck are made out of mahogany for a weighty feel and powerful sound that will suit nearly any kind of player from heavy riffs to ripping guitar solos. The body has the classic SE singlecut carve with great access to the upper frets while the neck is carved to the not often seen wide fat profile. This is one of the largest neck profiles that PRS make and is similar to the neck carves found on electric guitars form the 50s.
Top Notch Hardware
No PRS SE guitar would be complete without some great hardware to go with it. With that PRS have put on their own intonated stoptail as well as vintage style machine heads that look like they have come straight out the 50's but with modern stability. To finish it off you've got a set of the awesome SE245 pickups that have been made specifically for a guitar of this scale length. This keeps your sound hot and heavy.
