How does the Iguana Tail Loop2 work?

Trust us, it's very simple! Just hook up five of your favourite effects to the Iguana Tail Loop2 (in your desired order) via the five send/return jacks, and use the footswitches on the unit to easily engage or disengage them. You can also use the dedicated 'Tuner Out' jack for connecting your tuner pedal to the Iguana Tail Loop2, which has its own footswitch (on the far right) that conveniently mutes the signal — so the audience doesn't have to hear you tune up!

What's the point of the Iguana Tail Loop2?

You might be thinking: "why do I need to buy a device that just turns my pedals on and off, when I can already do that anyway?" Well, having various pedals with different shapes and sizes can make it a challenge to stomp them one-by-one in a live situation. With the Iguana Tail Loop2, all of your switches have the same size and are easily lined up with bright LEDs making it very easy to see whether you pedals are active or not.

The unit cleans up your signal chain and improves sound clarity too, as it allows you to remove pedals that can hinder your tone while not in use (like vintage buffered effects). Employing the Iguana also minimises wear-and-tear on your precious stompboxes.

9V Power Outputs

One Control's Iguana Tail Loop2 boasts six 9V DC outputs to power your effects pedals. So, if you're using a pedal power supply with limited outputs, or a specialised one with only high-voltage outputs — you can simply rely on the Iguana to provide juice to your standard 9V effects!

Active or Passive?

The Iguana Tail Loop2 can be powered by a standard 9V power supply, like most pedal switchers, but can be used passively if so desired too. However, the status LEDs and power outputs will not be active in passive operation mode.
