Introduced in 1982, the G&L S-500 was Leo Fender’s own evolution of the iconic single-coil loaded, double-cutaway electric guitar that he designed in the early '50s. Over 40 years later, and the affordable G&L Tribute S-500 takes that re-imagined instrument and modernises it even further.
Featuring G&L's super-quiet 'MFD' (Magnetic Field Design) pickups and ultra-smooth 'Dual-Fulcrum' tremolo, the Tribute S-500 also comes supercharged with the innovative 'PTB Tone System' which gives you superb control over the treble/bass frequencies, as well as a push/pull tone knob 'Expander Switch' that provides additional pickup combinations. Not many guitars are more versatile than this!

- G&L MFD Pickups — Considered a marked improvement over traditional single-coils, G&L's 'Magnetic Field Design' pickups (wound in the USA) deliver more output and possess a balanced frequency response with deeper lows and articulate highs.
- PTB Tone System — Gives you two master tone controls, one that decreases the treble like a typical tone knob, and one that decreases the low-end. It's like having a built-in, passive 2-band EQ!
- Expander Switch — Push/pull tone knob engages the neck and bridge single-coils (to emulate a T-style guitar) or all three pickups together.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
