  • Custombuckers – Loaded with two Custombuckers in the neck and bridge positions, this ES-335 produces a vintage warm and bright tone.
  • Special Limited Edition Run – Only 130 of these gorgeous instruments have been made, putting a limited edition time capsule in your hands.

Gibson Custom Shop

Constructed by the Gibson Custom Shop, the 1958 Murphy Lab reissue has been created by the best luthiers Gibson has to offer. Featuring sought-after Murphy Lab light ageing, with an incredible vintage finish, and a 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple tonewood – this special ES-335 produces old-school tonal resonance that truly compliments the Custombucker pickups. Only 130 instruments of this ES-335 have been made, utilising all the skills of the Gibson Custom Shop to create an unparalleled, timeless classic to take to the stage.

Vintage Feel

Boasting the big and chunky ’58 rounded neck profile, as well as an unbound Indian Rosewood fretboard, only found on ES-335s of this era. It doesn’t get more vintage than this. Gibson has stayed true to the original ’58 to give you an instrument that not only sounds extraordinary but feels it too. This style of neck is suited towards players with bigger hands, or those that prefer to use their thumb for more stability when playing higher up on the fretboard.
