The Maverick is the first maple snare that the British Drum Co. has ever produced. It was made in response to increasing demand from drummers who were searching for a premium maple playing experience. The British Drum Co. have delivered tenfold on this promise.

This snare was designed to be the backbone of your kit; a drum that won’t let you down in the most testing of drumming situations was the intention, and boy have they achieved just that. Handcrafted in the UK using a unique cold-press moulding process (which ensures the natural tonal qualities of each wood reaches its optimum potential), the Maverick boasts both excellent structural and sonic integrity.
Warm, Mellow Sound
The maple used here is characterised by a silky-smooth warmth and richness which is incredibly sensitive, whatever your playing style or technique. This sound cuts through well in any kind of mix too - resulting in a snare with a complexity of tones that can be applied well to all types of genres.
