The Epiphone PR5-E has been around for nearly a quarter of a century now and it is still just as popular as when it first came out. Designed to give you the best sound possible while not compromising on playability or value the PR5-E is perfect for those that needs a full sounding acoustic that gives them great access across the entire neck.
Great Sounding Acoustic
Like all acoustic guitar the sound comes first. Not matter what electronics you chuck at it or how playable it is, none of that will matter if it doesn't sound great. Made with a mahogany body topped with a wonderful piece of spruce this guitar has a classic full sound that is well suited to pretty much any style. From filling out a full stage with in a singer songwriter scenario to being a part of a much larger band the PR5-E can always fit in to the mix.
Normally on acoustic guitars you have a massive cutaway which just gets in the way when you want to go higher up the neck. Well Epiphone realized this so they instead opted for a florentine style cutaway on this guitar. While it may not be traditional this kind of curve works wonders and really lets you get access to the higher frets without taking anything away from the tone.
Finishing off this guitar you have a bunch of great hardware so you can take this guitar on stage, plug in and not have to worry for the rest of the night. The eSonic 2 preamp along with the built in pickup allows you to get a gig ready sound straight out of the box no matter if you are going into an acoustic amp or PA system.
