The Dowina (pronounced Davina) Faber is a premium acoustic guitar at a really affordable price. With a Pau Ferro back and sides and Cedar top, you're getting 2 phenomenal wood types to make a versatile gigging instrument.
Pau Ferro is similar to Rosewood in tone, but generally has beautiful wood grain. It's got a warm, rich character and the Spruce top will add clarity to the warm palette offered by the Pau Ferro back and sides. With an EBony fingerboard that feels great under the fingers, you've got a guitar that feels like you should be paying double the price.
The Grand Auditorium shape is considered the swiss army knife of acoustics because it handles so many different styles of music, so well. You can get a full, fat rhythm sound thanks to the bigger body but the square shoulders and narrow waist will give you more note definition for fingerpicked pieces.
The Fishman Matrix blend pickup system is a tried and trusted on-board preamp that will give you a fantastic acoustic sound through any PA system.
It's the flagship pickup system for Fishman as it will give you warm acoustic tones with it's undersaddle piezo system.
Who are Dowina?
Dowina are a company based in Bratislava, Slovakia where they build all of their acoustic guitars by hand. These guitars aren't mass produced at all, and this allows the luthiers more time to take care of each and every instrument as it's made.
Their creation process starts with wood selection where they take the utmost care in chosing highly resonant woods
