Genelec 9320A SAM Reference Monitor Controller

The 9320A Genelec SAM Reference Controller is a Smart Monitoring Device designed to serve as a hub for integrating key monitoring technologies, like loudspeaker-based monitoring and headphone-based monitoring. The 9320A is a compact unit that you easily place on a desk or the top of a mixing console. Its size makes it an excellent controller for you to take and plug in anywhere with essential connectivity for use in various improvised environments.

The 9320A can control up to three separate monitoring systems plus headphones, and each system can operate at a calibrated listening level, according to EBU R128, ATSC A/85 or SMPTE RP200 standards. While the 9320A can support any active loudspeaker system – such as one or two ALT stereo sets – it crucially provides instant one-click access to a vast number of extra monitor control features built into Genelec’s Smart Active Monitoring family.

Stereo and stereo-with-subwoofer monitoring systems can be directly connected to the 9320A using its analogue and AES/EBU input/output connectivity, while the 9320A can also be used as a USB output interface for high resolution stereo audio input from a computer. The 9320A outputs support both fixed line level output in ‘SAM’ mode and adjusted line output. Both modes are available over its balanced analogue outputs and AES output. This makes the 9320A compatible with any professional loudspeaker monitor or headphone sets.
