Product Description

Stone Deaf's QBoost pedal is the perfect tone-enhancer. It simply does it all — covering everything from transparent frequency boost to saturated overdrive and "dying amp" fuzz. In Stone Deaf's own words: "there’s no secret recipe for great tone, but the QBoost comes pretty close."

Whether you’re looking to drive the front-end of your amp harder, deliver more punch to a favourite pedal, or stand out for a searingly-hot solo — QBoost is the Swiss army knife that you need to extract the most from your setup!

Vintage & Modern Voices

The secret to the QBoost’s flexibility can be directly linked to the two sides of its circuit. As a preamp, you can toggle between 'vintage' and 'modern' voices using the central switch beneath its two knobs. This switch opens up a wide tonal palette, letting you attain always-on saturation, overdrive, fuzz (vintage) and pristine cleans (modern) — with a whole world of sonic possibilities in between.

Whatever sound you're going for, Stone Deaf's QBoost brings enough extra gain to the party to help you push your pedals and amp to the limit. It unlocks new, unique tones and captures the creamy, magical saturation that guitar and bass players simply can't get enough of!

Sculpt The Perfect Tone

The QBoost also showcases Stone Deaf’s love for EQ; going above and beyond what most typical gain circuits offer by adding flexible tone-shaping controls to their stompboxes. Thanks to a built-in frequency booster that runs from 35hz to 6Khz, with a natural/medium Q factor, this lets the QBoost emphasise and hone in on a specific frequency when the second 'Freq' footswitch is engaged. So whether you're looking to add low-end rumble, girthy mid-range or vibrant treble sparkle — the QBoost gives you plenty to play with!

All of these features add up to make the Stone Deaf QBoost a one-of-a-kind sound elevator. One that works interactively with your gear to take things to the next level and keep you, and your audience, wondering what’s coming next.

Very happy with the Stone Deaf Q Boost. I had the chance to use it at a gig within a couple of days of receiving it and I really liked the sounds it was helping me create. It’s such a simple, intuitive pedal anyway and doesn’t really create any bad sounds at all, so you just dial in to taste. A very useful pedal for a pretty reasonable price.
