We display the number of points available for a product on the product's page on our website. Normally we'll give you one point for every pound you spend, but watch out for double and triple points deals for even more savings!
Waves Audio are among the elite when it comes to music software, setting the standard for professionals in the industry.
Waves Audio produce some of the most widely used and critically acclaimed software for producers and musicians. Their releases deliver professional-grade sound and their software bundles offer unparalleled value for money!
A History of Waves Audio
Waves Audio was founded in 1992, beginning with the production of the first audio plugin the Q10 Paragraphic Equalizer. This was a first on a number of fronts; it was the first audio signal processor plugin, the likes of which are now commonplace in the industry. It was also the first to offer a graphic interface, offering unprecedented levels of detailed tweaking. Finally, it delivered a sound quality that equalled (or in some cases surpassed) its hardware counterparts.
This release put Waves Audio on the map; they continued to release ground-breaking software in a similar fashion, including the L1 Ultramixer which is still widely used to this day. The two co-founders, Gilad Keren and Meir Shaashua, were accomplished audio engineers and musicians who channelled their passion and experience into producing the products they wanted to use.
Since setting the bar with their early releases, Waves Audio has gone on to become an industry leader in digital audio software. Their products can be found in some of the top international studios, and are firmly established as go-to tools for the producer who seeks professional sound.
The Waves Audio Range
The Waves Audio range covers a number of different aspects of music production, and is designed to be both world-class and highly intuitive at the same time.
They offer a number of high-quality and affordable collections to suit different needs. Among their most popular releases are the Musicians Plugin bundles and the Waves Power Pack, both of which offer useful effects, dynamic tools, imaging plugins and more. It’s all designed to give you the ability to polish your mix to a professional standard without breaking the bank!
Their Signature Plugin series is exactly what it sounds like; a selection of tools and customised presets curated by some of the industry’s most respected producers. This amazing range includes the Greg Wells Signature Plugin Series (Wells is a multiple Grammy award-winner who’s worked with Katy Perry and Adele, among others) and the Tony Maserati Series (credits include Mary J Blige, Notorious B.I.G, Puff Daddy and more).
Finally, Waves Audio’s professional suites are comprehensive selections of pro-grade plugins with a single common goal; to produce the best sounding mixes in the world!
Arguably the most popular of the lot is the Mercury Plugin Suite, which boasts a whopping 150 plugins and over 400 individual components. Whether it’s ambience, compression, noise reduction, stereo processing, or anything in between, the Mercury Suite will deliver on every front. You simply can’t go wrong!
