Victory The Copper Amps

Victory's VC35 'The Copper' amps capture the spirit of iconic AC-style amps from the past - with some extra hot-rodded flavour. These modernised, EL84-driven amps dish out chimey cleans and barking British overdrive tones. They're great with pedals too!

Unlike other amplifiers in Victory's growing lineup, their 35-watt 'The Copper' guitar amps use EL84 power tubes. Synonymous with Vox amps and British guitar tones in general, EL84s are voiced to deliver glassy cleans all the way through to punchy classic rock tones. It's best to think of Victory's VC35 models as warm-sounding, AC-inspired amplifiers that can stretch to ballsy, early-'70s plexi-style sounds when they're cranked!

The Victory Copper range encompasses two models, the Compact and the Deluxe. The Compact VC35 'The Copper' follows Victory's lightweight lunchbox chassis design, making it a very ergonomic head that's incredibly easy to transport. The Deluxe offers slightly more class and style, with its Pine enclosure and red/brown vinyl. However, it also boasts valve-driven reverb and tremolo effects for that unmistakable vintage character.

With just single-channel designs, Victory's VC35 'The Copper' amps may seem quite limited. But their no-nonsense features make them perfect for plug-in-and-play guitarists looking for simplicity over complexity. With standard 3-band EQ sections that allow you to carefully sculpt your tones, the Victory 'The Copper' amps also have additional 'Bass Cut' and 'Mid Boost' switches which enable you to cut any flabby low-end or pump the mids for increased definition respectively.
