Product Description

Here's what T-Rex say about the Quint Machine

Classic octave doubling is cool, but throwing in a 5th up and giving all 3 modulated sounds their own volume control opens up a whole new world. Sound like a 12-string. Sound like an organ. Get rid of your dry signal and sound like a synth just owning that lonely heart. We built the T-Rex Quint Machine to give you more, and it will keep you discovering new sounds for years.

  • Octave up, octave down, 5th up
  • Individual volume controls, plus master mix

Fantastic sounding pedal. Very versatile from subtle harmony sound to playing a church organ to replicating a bass guitar, so many new dimensions to explore

Brilliant pedal. I love the range of sounds that can be can achieved from this. I bought it as I need something to provide bass tones when using a looper but I have also used to higher octave feature to get a sound resembling a 12 string. Riffing with the fifth feature gives some interesting results as well. But don't listen to me, look it up on YouTube. It's a great pedal.

I was looking at the POG and wanted a super simple octave pedal that I can control the mix and + - octave.... the Quint was at a great price at Andertons and significantly cheaper than the POG.. the added bonus of the 5th was the tipping point for me.. It tracks well, is simple to use, and sounds great, realpolitik build quality and please I went for this..

Does exactly what it claims to. The upper fifth and octave sounds a bit synth-like when played clean, but when fed through an overdrive definately delivers the desired effect of a crazy, beefy sound. However, if playing clean and accompanying a distorted guitar, the octave up helps to solidify harmony lines without the synth sound being too noticeable at all. When using the octave down (with boost) you can make sounds like a tractor being sick (in a good way), which is always fun!
