Product Description

Here's what T-Rex say about the Creamer Reverb

So, you finally got your rig dialed in and it sounds fantastic, but sometimes you feel like adding a bit of depth or airy-ness to it. You want to fill in the holes in your playing, add some ambience or you maybe just really like those dreamy, special sounds that seem to take on a life of their own.

However, you don´t want to be lost in sub-menus or unfamiliar parameters, your pedal board is pretty much packed with all your precious goodies and you don´t want to ruin that tone you finally nailed.

We have designed the Creamer reverb to be dead simple to operate, but with just enough room for tweaking, so you don´t feel limited in your search for the sonic equivalent of Grand Canyon or that small room we frequently visit every day.

Analog Technology

The Creamer never digitizes your beloved guitar signal. It simply mixes in the reverb sound with the analog dry signal, so your tone is not tampered with in any way. It features three different reverb algorithms, which can be further adjusted to your liking with the knobs – set them fairly low and you can get the classic, more subtle reverbs, but there are lots of spaciousness available once you start to dime the knobs!

The Creamer Reverb is your no nonsense, easy-to-use, great sounding reverb pedal that should enhance your playing in such a way, that you never really turn it off – things just sound better with a bit of cream on top!

Key Features

  • 3 reverb types (spring, room, hall)
  • Tone control for adjusting the high frequencies of the reverb
  • Analog dry signal keeps the tone intact
  • High quality reverb algorithms
  • Small, ultra simple operation - and versatility

The reverb on this is good but the pedal does boost your signal when the reverb is at lower levels, which may not be what you want in a reverb pedal

Great Value pedal that has the 3 most commonly used Reverbs. I'm no expert, but I've been able to get some nice depth to my tone with this pedal so very happy. If you use REVERB a lot, you may want more from a reverb pedal, but at this price point I don;t think you can beat the quality of TRex.

An uncomplicated reverb pedal, built like a tank and does exactly what it's supposed to do without any bells & whistles.

I was looking for a straight-forward simple reverb pedal (for an amp that has no reverb) and this fits the bill. It is simple to dial in a sound. Once the dials are set, there are three different depths of reverb at a flick of the toggle switch gives you three depths of reverb. The only issue I have found is there seems to be a slight volume boost when kicking in the reverb on the dirty channel but given its home use this is not a major issue.

Solid reverb for use with pro junior 4. Love the spring sound. Very authentic.

Great value reverb pedal. There are simple, basic reverbs with limited functionality that are easy to use and, most likely dial in a sound you like and then just leave it there. Then there are the all-singing, all-dancing, shoe gazing, multi-knobbed wonders that you never stop twiddling with and give you so much choice it’s easy to be overwhelmed and lost. Then there’s the T-Rex Creamer, just enough versatility for classic, old skool sounds and, with a simple control layout that doesn’t confuse. A very underrated and very capable and useable pedal.

For the money (£75) this is hard to beat. I like the sound of it. It doesn't sound exactly like a spring reverb but it sounds close enough for live performance. I have it turned on most of the time when noodling and I find it effective without being intrusive.

Nice looking pedal and sounds really good. But I went down the external battery clip method of power source only to find out that it was the wrong polarity which wasn't explained in the description, so now I need to buy additional items just to power it. At the moment I'm just holding the battery and clip together with sellotape to change its polarity so it works. Also the cable jack wires don't fit onto the input and output well so the sound keeps cutting off. I still like this pedal so I'm keeping it, so I just have to spend more money on probably getting the t-rex fuel tank. As I'm not a professional player I think I should have bought a simpler easier use pedal.
