Nuendo 10 is Steinberg's latest and most advanced iteration of their powerful media production digital audio workstation (DAW). Steinberg have listened to user feedback and added loads of new features to improve your workflow and the capabilities of Nuendo.
What is Nuendo?
Whether you need an audio solution for TV and film post-production, game audio, broadcast, virtual reality or even music for soundtracks and scores, Nuendo has got you covered. While most DAWs are designed for music-making, Nuendo has been created to cover the wide world of audio for media applications.
What's New in Nuendo 10?
As mentioned earlier, Steinberg have introduced many user-requested improvements to make Nuendo 10 even more powerful and intuitive than before. Some new features include:
- Field Recorder Audio Import - This feature allows you to search for Field Recorder audio files that match up with a selected event(s). Nuendo will find files with attributes or metadata that matches up with your search criteria making the search for audio files that match up with your scenes a much smoother experience.
- ADM Import - Create mixes designed for Dolby Atmos systems by importing ADM files into your Nuendo project.
- Video Cut Detection (VCD) - VCD analyses video files for cuts and allows you to place markers in those places.
Other features include dearVR Spatial Connect Support; Doppler effect and VoiceDesigner plug-ins; Distroyer processor (asymmetric distortion); workflow improvements and more. And with future updates in the pipeline, the capabilities of Nuendo 10 will only expand!
