Love the guitar, however, it isn't free from issues - the bridge sinks after playing, this is quite common with Jazzmaster bridges. And the low E tuner and tremolo spring sometimes rattle. I guess it's to expect when buying a cheaper guitar like Squire though.

I’ve given 3 stars because when the guitar arrived the fret board was really dry and dusty, the frets were rough and it felt horrible to play. Now that I’ve oiled the fret board and smoothed out the frets with wire wool I love the guitar, everything else about it is great. If I hadn’t had to work on the neck I would have given 5 stars.

First, it's a beauty. Metallic Purple and Gold makes a unique blend.
Secondly, it's sound marvellously. I really fancy the neck pickup.
Then, it's very well build, especially for that price range.

Fantastic value for money. A few things I’ll probably change out but very happy with my first Jazzmaster. Also it looks great!

This was my first Jazzmaster. I know there can be issues with budget guitars and this was no exception. I had six high frets to level, on the treble side in the upper register. The bridge also had issues. It was all the way down, and the high e string would not remain in the saddle. Thus I had to shim the neck to give it more back angle so that the bridge could be raised while maintaining proper string action. I discovered a piece of sandpaper was used at the factory as a makeshift neck shim. All this and still four stars, because I can fix such issues and actually enjoy doing it. I do, however, feel sorry for someone that doesn't know how to address these issues. Most certainly they would return it, but I wanted that purple metallic with gold anodized pick guard. I lowered the pickups quite a bit to get the sound I was looking for. The bridge pickup is rather hot, mine measured over 17k of DC resistance. This guitar can get very angry! I am so happy with this guitar, and it now plays like a dream.

I love the look and feel of Fender guitars. I own a Highway I Tele, a Mexican Strat , a Squier Jazz Bass and a Squier Thinline Tele.
The Jazzmaster came setup very well, probably better than the Mexican Stratocaster was. As Lee and Pete say in their review you can’t go wrong with these guitars; they are worth every euro, pound or whatever currency you pay with.

I love this guitar. It was not very expensive, but it is fun to play, and I love the purple and gold. I am very happy with my purchase. For an inexpensive guitar it is pretty impressive. The Captain and Pete are not wrong about these Squire guitars. I never really wanted a Jazzmaster before but now I am glad I have one. It does have its own voice.

Squier has been really stepping it up in recent times. The finish and the features are all perfect.

This guitar's finish and sound are amazing! Great value for money. Two minor things worth mentioning are the volume and tone knobs are a little snug to the pickgaurd and don't maneuver as easily as I like and the Indian Laurel on the fretboard looks a little dull compared to Rosewood. I am hopeful conditioning it will give it a darker appearance.

I saw the video for this limited run beauty in metallic purple. I'd been looking for both a Jazzmaster and a purple guitar. I had no choice. The way this guitar feels and sounds is amazing! It's also very loud acoustically, which I like. This guitar doesn't sound like any other guitar and gives me different colors to paint with. I'm enjoying getting to know this beautiful lady! Thanks guys!

A nice flashy purple and gold Jazzmaster. Loving the different switching options. Needs heavier strings and a set up, but that's easily done. A nice quirky sound, great for Americana and, strangely, funk.

Great guitar! It's so different than anything I have. It's amazing how versatile it can sound. And also really challenges me to play different due to the low action in which it arrived. Combined with the color scheme, beautiful laquered neck and maybe new pick ups later on in it's life. Its a keeper!

Finish is beautiful, plays butterry smooth, a bit of buzz in the bridge, but nothing really to complain about

Brilliant budget guitar, although In a few places the quality was on display. Eg, the nut (wasn’t cut well) and some stain from the neck wasn’t cleaned off properly. Other than that pretty great

I recently purchased a CV Jazzmaster but was disappointed with the color options. A couple weeks later, there was the purple FSR on the Anderton's Website and I knew I had to sell my Sonic Blue Jazzmaster and get one of the Purple FSR Jazzmasters. It's gorgeous - and it's now my favorite guitar. It sounds great, it's very comfortable, and it looks like a guitar that costs hundreds of dollars more.
I can't speak to durability because it's brand new, but it feels as solid as any other guitars I've played.

Guitar was set up well, Packaging seemed to be plenty except the selector switch needed more protection. There is a ********* smudge on the white switch cover and it is very apparent. I will have to try and fix it.
The rest of the guitar is great.
