Product Description

Spector have worked with Rachel Bolan - Skid Row founder and bassist to produce a bass worthy of the Bolan name.

Like Bolan, this bass has serious attitude, EMG pickups and Spector's own Tone Pump active tone circuit give it the punch needed to hold the low end down on even the biggest stage.

The zinc-brass alloy used for the bridge and the nut will really make this bass sing, so you can expect some incredible tones from this beast.

The Spector Artist Series

Spector Basses have been proudly used by some of the biggest names in music over the past four decades. Their current roster of artists includes some of the most respected names in classic rock, hard rock, heavy metal, fusion, jazz, pop and everything in between. The unmistakable Spector sound has become a staple in modern music and can be heard on countless records and seen in clubs, arenas, and stadiums around the world. Spector is proud to offer several distinct Artist Models that have been carefully built to the exact specifications of some of the biggest names in bass.

History of Spector

In the late 1970’s, Stuart Spector started crafting handmade basses in his Brooklyn based workshop. By 1977 He and Ned Steinberger had designed what was to become a revolution in the bass world.
The NS-1 stepped away from traditional large, angular bodied basses and created an instrument designed for the modern musician. With curves and contours which sit comfortably against the body, the NS-1 quickly became a favourite amongst progressive players.

The legend of the NS-1 has continued to this day, and the gorgeous curved body that made it unique is used the world over. Spector basses are still a favourite amongst modern players too with artists like Mike Inez (Alice in Chains), Doug Wimbish (Living Colour) and Tom Doyle (Don Broco).

Here's what Spector say about the Rachel Bolan Signature Bass

The Euro4LX Rachel Bolan offers all of the features that have made the Spector name, and Rachel’s name, famous around the globe. The extremely comfortable, fully carved body is crafted from carved European alder body and is topped off with a USA maple top. A 3 piece maple neck runs through the entire length of the instrument and features a 24 fret ebony fingerboard with Spector’s signature Crown inlays. Outfitted with a lightweight, zinc brass alloy bridge and nut, premium EMG pickups and Spector’s coveted Tone Pump active tone circuit, Euro4LX basses are equipped to hold down the low-end on the world’s biggest stages.
