This is a good piano etc with very good voices.. However, it would be nice to control the dual voice volumes individually.. The sustain is also a bit course.. A foot swell (volume) pedal connection would be useful..

I got it as a secondary keyboard for travel since it is very small and so far I am very impressed, especially for the price!

    Mr. Ian Exton4th Feb 2021

I'm a guitar player but need to get better at music theory and composition, so I bought this as a first piano. I didn't want to spend a lot but didn't want to buy twice if I got into it a lot. It's a £250 keyboard, so I wasn't expecting the perfect feel of a real piano but the keyboard feel is about right for a beginner - it gives enough feedback without being vague or over firm. I was very impressed with the default piano sounds, particularly in the midrange. The highest and lowest Cs aren't so good but that's possibly a limitation of the small speakers, which I'd describe as adequate. There are plenty of other voices to keep life interesting. I was a little annoyed by Roland's free 3 months of lessons which turns out to be for Apple devices only, no Android, so that's useless to me. But, overall, I really like the Go:Piano.

It's really good for the money. Light weight, very portable and full size keys. the sounds are really good as well and a lot of functionality packed in. My only small issue is that the sprung keys are much firmer than a weighted key piano - i.e. you have to press much harder, especially if you are up the key. This means that playing more delicate pieces is difficult to achieve. That said, I'm sure this will be build some finger strength, so not all bad.

A great sound and feel, with just enough variety in voices and recording to offer a young a bit more fun, but not too many options to distract from learning the piano
