Ohhh this piano is amazing. I was torn between the Kawai ES-110, Roland FP-30 and a couple of the Yamaha P-range, and the Roland does not disappoint. Great sound, feels very authentic to play, and good connectivity to other devices / headphones / amps etc. Very happy with my choice! Only thing I'd like to have seen is the option to swap out the DP-2 on/off sustain pedal that it comes with for the more 'piano-like' DP-10 sustain pedal, which I purchased additionally.

Bought for my son who wanted weighted keys so he can easier switch between this & a real piano at school. I'm no pianist, but the sound (through it's own speakers) & key-feels are very convincing. Didn't get the chance to compare against other makes at similar price point (due to lockdown), but my son is delighted with the FP30, so job done.

Roland are a top name in keyboards and you can see why. The build quality for the price is excellent. The sound is spot on and the weighted keys feel just like a real piano. I also like the built in features like the record and Bluetooth functions.

This doesn't work for a Piano where you have a pedal. There is no good position to sit using this stand. Might be better for a keyboard, but I haven't tried that.

I’m delighted with my Roland FP 30, and so far have encountered no problems. A transient vibration that started on playing a particular key has seemed to settle and I think was related to the position and weight of the sheet music on the music rest.
I get more pleasure playing it than with the acoustic piano I owned in the past.
It’s quite heavy and I haven’t found a way yet to stop it sliding about on the X-stand if I knock it inadvertently. I’ll have to find a way to stop the separate pedal from sliding away on the carpet.
I was guided in my decision to purchase by listening to comparison YouTube demos

I have looked around quite a lot for a piano FITBIT my son who is taking lessons and I was down to Yamaha P125 or Roland FP30 and with advise from colleagues who are pianist themselves I bought Roland and god it’s really beautiful to play and sounds fantastic. It may be slightly expensive but I would recommend.

Feels great to play. Sounds fantastic! Send a video to my step-mum who’s a pianist, she also commented ok the quality of the sound.
The only thing is that I can’t figure out how to get the app working via Bluetooth. But I haven’t tried very hard.

Great sound and look. Slim and elegant and fits into my daughter's small bedroom, but sounds like a baby grand. The music stand is too vertical, but a black plastic corner edging strip from the DIY shop stuck underneath looks like part of the instrument and holds the music in place.

This Roland keyboard was exactly what I was looking for, good sound from the built in speakers and a more natural feel to the keys. For the cost I think his is a good introduction to stage pianos and perfect for beginners and the more experienced musicians.

The keyboard was not in stock, Andertons emailed to say it would be a week or so before it could be dispatched then I got another email when it was on its way after and it arrived in perfect condition.

This felt like the cheapest you can go and still get a very realistic piano experience. Both the keyboard feel and the sampled sounds seemed slightly ahead of the equivalent Yamaha (P125), although I prefer the aesthetics of the Yamaha.

Very pleased with this purchase. My main concern was that it felt like a real piano. Rest assured, it does. The keys are properly weighted, the texture is very reminiscent of ivory keys and the dynamics and fall off are as you would expect from a 'proper' piano.
The sound is full and believable and there are 3 different standard piano samples to choose from, each can be further modified to suit individual tastes.
The speakers are decent and the sounds are emitted from the relative part of the keyboard. Sound improves even further with a good set of headphones (not the ones bundled!).

This digital piano has an excellent action for the price. It's pretty responsive and predictable, and feels quite realistic. The sound through the loudspeakers is quite good -- better than one could reasonably expect at the price -- and it's better still through headphones. The accompanying iOS app makes up for the somewhat opaque controls on the keyboard itself for modifying key touch, etc. (By the way, adjusting the touch to "Heavy" makes it easier to achieve a wide dynamic range.)

Best piano sound and key action at this price point. Other sounds aren't quite so realistic but I only wanted the piano sounds in any case. The headphone amp could be of better quality. Thinking of purchasing the Behringer HA400 amp (approx £20) to improve the headphone volume.
