Combining the power and stability of a solidbody electric guitar with the captivating resonance of a hollowbody instrument, the PRS SE Hollowbody Standard is an immensely versatile workhorse that'll inspire you every time you pick it up and play.

Body & Neck

With a full hollowbody construction, this guitar emits an open and airy sound with superb top-end articulation. Mahogany is used to form the top, middle and back sections of the body, with a tasteful see-through finish showing off the glorious wood grain. This use of tonewood gives the PRS Hollowbody Standard a warm yet balanced sound, and serves as an excellent foundation for the pickups.

Joining the body is a Mahogany neck adorned with a silky smooth Ebony fingerboard, providing a luxurious feel under the fingers. Carved to PRS' "Wide Fat" profile, the Hollowbody Standard's neck may feel quite substantial to modern players, but it's designed to offer optimal support for tricky chords and intricate arpeggios.

The PRS SE Hollowbody Standard is fitted with reliable, high-quality hardware that'll simply never let you down when playing onstage or recording in the studio. Equipped with PRS' Adjustable Stoptail bridge, this beautifully-machined piece of hardware combines traditional design with the perks of modern tweakability. At the other end of the instrument you'll find a set of PRS machine heads; keeping your tuning super-solid.

This outstanding instrument gets most of its voice from its set of 58/15 "S" pickups, which capture the essence of classic medium-output, mid-focused PAF pickups from the golden age of electric guitar design. Crystal-clear with clean amp settings, these pickups also cope well with thick doses of overdrive and distortion; making them apt for most genres.
