    Justin Guitar

Here's what YouTube guitar teacher JustinGuitar says about EastCoast Guitars

"Having played a lot of budget instruments in recent months, I can confidently say that the EastCoast guitars are by far the best bang for buck I've tried. They all had a "low action" (which means the strings are easier to press down) which is perfect for beginners and means less finger pain and a lot more fun!"

    Product Description

The EastCoast L1 is the perfect starter instrument for the complete rock musician. This legendary-shaped guitar is known as one of the most versatile instruments ever created. Perfect for a guitarist who is up for playing anything and everything.

The L1 has two humbucker pickups - the parts of the guitar that take the sound of the strings and directs it into an amp. These produce a gritty, warm tone suited to playing both rhythm and lead guitar.

The four dials on the right-hand side of the body let you change the tone and volume. You can experiment away with the sound and never get bored of picking it up to play.

You can get right up the neck for screaming high notes thanks to 22 frets. These are the thin metal bars across the fingerboard. The more you have, the more notes you can play. That's why the L1 is brilliant for either soulful solos or chugging low notes.

Almost every famous guitarist has owned a single-cutaway guitar like the L1. The classic shape is compact enough to play standing or seated, while the cut in the body of the guitar allows your left hand to reach the highest frets comfortably.

This model has a beautiful flame maple top, which gives it distinctive wave patterns across the face of the guitar. It's renowned as a classy, modern look amongst guitar aficionados.

If I'd had a guitar like this when I started playing I would be so much better!!! Bought as a 'pretty' second guitar for drop tuning stuff. My other guitars are all 'super strats' ( child of the 80's) and have skinny necks so this felt fat like a real gibson! Pick scrapes are a bit of a no no for me too as i knock the pickup selector switch every time. Guess I just need to get used to that! Very playable out of the box. Build quality astounding!

Yeah, as soon as we saw this electric guitar, and heard how it plays, we knew it was The One heh. Stunning to look at, it sounds amazing too. Everything we could ask for with our journey into incredible sounds.

This is a beginner guitar for me. I searched and compared many different types, models, and price points. The video's from Andertons were awesome and really helped me make a decision. The guitar is very well made. Paint and finish are awesome. It even arrived tuned, I didn't have to tweak it much to get started. Seems to hold a tune as well. I'm new to playing so I've no idea about brands of strings or how well that would make a difference for a beginner. It didn't come with a manual, but it didn't take me long to figure out the knobs and how they control the pickups. The packaging was good. I chose the guitar by itself vs the package with amp bundle due to shipping costs. Overall very happy with this purchase.

For such a reasonable cost the gear is fantastic, I would rate as 5 stars but the guitar does have a small problem with 3rd and 5th frets, the 1st string can get stuck under the rough edge of these frets If pushed over the edge of the fretboard. Only a small issue and probably largely due to my beginner ineptitude but can be annoying.

Even better looking in person (imo), plays really well and stays in tune for now. Good purchase!
