The Studio 192 is designed to be the central hub for any project or professional studio. The onboard talkback mic can be routed to any mix. Onboard Dim and Mono options let you take control of your main mix. Listen to any mix from either headphone amp. Use the ten balanced outputs for monitor mixing, speaker switching, or both, depending on how you work. With its flexible software and abundant I/O, the Studio 192 fits into any recording and production environment.

Because we can’t create the same integrated Studio One experience in every recording application, the Studio 192’s onboard features can also be controlled in UC Surface’s battle-tested interface. UC Surface has rapidly won accolades for its intuitive mixing interface that provides quick access to everything you need to create quality monitor mixes and get back to recording.

The Studio 192 is equipped with audiophile-grade, Burr-Brown processors to deliver top-quality digital conversion up to 192 kHz. I am still working with the unit with no issues so far. Typical quality I would expect from Presonus. As I have only recently started to use the unit I cannot expand further. Suffice it to say, very nice upgrade over my previous Presonus unit, the discontinued VSL44. The channel specific +48v switchable phantom power was the major selling point. Compared to the typical "global phantom power" of my other mixers/ D/A units this is a deal maker. Being able to run an SM58 and a condenser on the same session, in one box and still have instrument (Hi-Z) inputs available, my loop sessions are infinitely easier. I use a number of products released to work with Studio One V4 Pro. The fact that I can control this unit from inside Studio One V4 and either print the fat channel to my track or use it purely for monitoring while I record is a real boon. The fact that this unit switches from hardware DSP to software processing depending on whether I am recording or playing back a session, seamlessly, really does simplify my recording session.

Studio 192 is an excellent piece of kit, and integrates with Studio 192 far better than the 1818VSL. The free is superb and acts as a quick access tool for commands without needing to reach for the mouse. In my opinion, Studio one (bundled) is the best DAW out there for the serious hobbyist or home studio, especially upgraded to the pro version.

How do I use instant finance?

It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
