The stunning swivel tube lugs are designed to reduce contact with the shell maximising the natural resonance of the wood. And finally the air holes have been positioned on each drum using the ‘Golden Ratio’ rule to provide maximum attack whilst improving frequency response. A design innovation which is completely uniqe to the Masterworks series.

Shell
Even 6 play; 2 Birch / 2 Gumwood / 2 Birch with 4 play Maple reinforcement rings. Perfectly captures each stroke with articulate high-volume punch and quick, even decay.
Sound
Speaks with an urgent sonic signature, from areans to clubs to the modern sanctuary.
Edge
Rounded 45 degree on toms (fully rounded edge on bass drums, standard 45 degrees on snare drums). Helps boost low-end frequency with increased shell contact along the head collar. Bass drums features subdued sustain and maximised low-end power.
Hardware
2.3mm Superhoop II hoops - Made to withstand heavy play without an undue limit on the performance across the tuning range.
Swivel Tube Lugs
This medium-weight STL swivel lug qwith pivoting tension casing increases projection and reduces unwanted overtones in shell resonance. STL-150 /300.
