The Shanks 4K is one of Vemuram’s collaborations with producer John Shanks. Over the years Shanks has worked with Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Sherryl Crow, Bob Dylan, Santana and Sting… I think you get the picture, he knows what he’s talking about.
The 4K is a fuzz pedal, built using 2 germanium transistors, it will give you the dirty fuzz sounds of the late 60’s. The tone really responds to your touch too, ease off and the tone will begin to clean up whilst keeping an edgy crunch. But attack the strings and crank the volume and you’ll be rewarded with that thick distortion you so desire!
4K simply stands for 4 knobs which are Volume, fuzz, Bass and Treble. It’s pretty much plug and play, dial in the EQ to find your tone then crank up the fuzz.
There’s also Fuzz Colour and Bias settings that can be trimmed and tweaked on the top of the pedal to help dial in the sound you want. Vemuram have designed these so that players can get the right amount of distortion to work with their pickups and style.
Modelled to get the Hendrix / Page tone of the late 60’s and early 70’s the Shanks brings bags of retro character all housed in a solid brass body.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.

Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
