The Schecter Diamond J is as the name suggests a Jazz style bass with a few Schecter style modifications that give it a slightly more modern twist. The main difference between this and other similar priced J basses comes with the Schecter Diamond Monster Tone II pickups. It has hugely over sized pole pieces in these standard sized pickups giving you a much larger sound over the two smaller pole pieces you normally see per string. This alone makes it great for any kind of rock musician looking for a great value J bass to add to the collection. This bass is also loaded with Schecters own take on the thin 'C' bass neck making it incredibly easy to play, even for those people with smaller hands. This particular model comes in an Ivory over an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The maple neck really works well with the alder body giving the bass an overall great feel and punchy tone.
I love how this bass looks with it's iconic traditional design but when you plug it in it goes from vintage to modern and everywhere in between. The coil tap is the feature that allows you so much variation in tone, in its standard position it is in modern mode with a deeper scooped tone overall that punches a little bit harder. If you then pull the tone control to its out position you go to a more traditional vintage style tone which is a little warmer and smoother.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
