Media Player Versatility

However you like to store and access your digital music, the SC2900 can adapt to your way of thinking. Whether you like to work with a desktop in the studio, bring your laptop to gigs, tap the screen of your iPad for tracks, or simply plug in a USB stick with your favourite tracks, the SC2900 has you covered.

The SC2900 comes with ENGINE Music Management for PC/MAC software included, and you can download the ENGINE app for your ipad to offer extra functionality and display options. The controller is also fully compatible and natively supported by Tracktor 2, and even comes with a Lite version for you to check out if you haven't already.

If you want to go back to basics with a really lightweight and simple setup, the SC2900 can read your music library off a simple USB stick. You can link up to 4 SC2900s or SC3900s together, sharing the one USB stick. Alternatively, you can always go back to your CD collection, as it supports CD-DA and CD-ROM formats.

The Eclipse Platter

One of the things that separates the SC2900 from the conventional CDJ is the Eclipse Platter. Not only do you get a smooth and responsive feel, the platter itself has a ring of LED markers that show cue point and playback markers in a simple and elegant way. This means you can manage all of your tracks and playlists quickly and easily.

Hybrid Midi Mode

Hybrid MIDI mode has been a great feature to recent Denon DJ devices, and gives the SC2900 even more flexibility for the modern DJ. With this technology, you can MIDI map the SC2900 to a variety of applications. What this means is that you can then control your favourite DJ software utilising DVS, without having to bring special timecode CDs.
