The Martin OM-28 is an elegant acoustic guitar which authentically recreates a classic of Martin's guitar line up. The OM-28 is identical in spec and constructino to the fantastic OM-28 Retro but without any electronics (so in that sense it's even MORE authentic!)
Featuring the classic Martin construction of Solid Sitka Spruce top combined with solid Rosewood back and sides. That combination of tonewoods gives you a tone that wonderfully rounded and warm with enough spring and brightness from the spruce to give you all the definition you could want.
Vintage Tone System
The new Martin Vintage Tone System (VTS) uses a unique recipe that is based on the historic torrefaction system. The VTS acts much like a time machine in which Martin can target certain time periods and age the top/braces to that era. This focused method allows Martin’s craftsmen and women to recreate not only the pleasing visual aesthetics of a vintage guitar, but also reproduce the special tones previously reserved for vintage instruments.
Classic Wood construction
Classic Martin guitars use a combination of spruce tops and solid Rosewood backs and sides to create enchanting tone. You'll find this tonewood combination on the Martin OM-28. Solid Sitka spruce has a wide tonal range with great projection and with a solid-wood top, the tone of your 0M-28 will age really well, with enhanced harmonics and even more incredible tone as it ages.
The Vintage style includes aged toner top, butterbean tuners and a large old style Martin logo.
The solid Sitka Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides is perhaps the 'standard' for Martin guitars and beutifully balances the snap and spring of the spruce with the rich warmth of the rosewood.

Carrying a distinct vintage-inspired design and updated like the D-18 a few years ago, the OM-28 offers many of the features found in our pre-war era guitars. The OM-28 is constructed with all the features of the OM-28E Retro without the electronics package. Aging toner and a polished gloss finish are applied to the Sitka spruce top which features 1/4" "X" scalloped bracing. The polished gloss East Indian rosewood body is edged with ivoroid binding. Like the 000-18, the model's neck features a modified low oval profile with performing artist taper with a width of 1-3/4" at the nut and 2-3/16" string spacing for easy playability. Nickel open-geared tuners with butterbean knobs are found with a rosewood headplate, which displays a large old style Martin logo.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
