Made with a solid engelmann spruce top with solid rosewood back and sides, this guitar projects forwards incredibly well with a sound that is bright, punchy and suits a wide range of different styles. Acoustically Massive

With any acoustic guitar you want it to project well so the entire room can hear you no matter what else is going on. Of course you can plug in to the PA through the high quality stereo Hex system but sometimes you don't have that luxury.

Out of the box this acoustic sounds great. It responds very well to delicate finger style playing, tapping and strumming. You will find it hard to find an area where this acoustic doesn't shine.

Electronically Clean

When you start playing with a full band and have to go through a PA you're hoping that it will sound as close to your guitars natural sound as possible. You don't have to worry with the Shadow Hex pickup system which gives you an amazing level of control over your amplified sound.

You can control the output of each of the 6 strings individually with small trim pots on the preamp. So if you find that any of your strings are to loud or too quiet you can fix it without having to rely on the sound guy and his EQ skills.

You can also connect up your guitar with a stereo Y jack cable for stereo operation. This separates your sound across the two outputs with your low E string panned 100% left and your high E string set to 100% right. All of your other strings are spread equally between the two speakers. This can be a cool effect live if you are the only guitarist and you want to fill out the room a little bit more.
