Yes, I know. It's a Strat without Single coil pickups! This Instrument has broken the shackles of tradition through a hot-rod upgrade thats altogether a little more firey. Sitting into the body are a pair of Twin Head Vintage Humbucking pickups that offer the power and guts to this instrument, controlled by a 3 way blade pickup switch and 3 aged white control knobs. Some might say this is sacriledge, but they obviously haven't heard the result. The fantastic combination of humbuckers with the classic strat body gives a versatile tone profile from thick and rich cleans, to gutsy modern overdrive. The Fender Vintage pickups are perfectly suited to the Strat, with a bright glassy tone and enhanced dynamics. This ensures the essential essense of this classic instrument is not lost. You still feel like you're playing a Strat, just one with fire in its belly! An even string response makes the guitar easy to get in the groove with a killer riff or punchy guitar chords. The Hot-Rod Humbucking Strat Maintains the classic looks of the American Standard, with this particular model matching a disctinctive Ocean Blue Metallic Alder body with a maple fretboard and 3ply parchment white scratchplate. A light finish that should age nicely in the years to come. Showing great attention to detail, the HH Strat is equipped with aged white control knobs for that vintage look that blends nicely with the rest of the guitar.
