Construction

Formed of a Mahogany body to give heavy riffs all of the low-end grunt they require, this tonewood offers a deep and rich tone that lends itself well to high-gain and also gives leads plenty of rounded warmth. Adorned with a stunning Zebrawood top, this beautiful instrument will catch the eager eyes of your audience - no sweat!

Paired with a set Maple neck, this bright-sounding wood will help to deliver some top-end snap and definition, giving notes a fast attack and amazing projection in heavy mixes. Reinforced with Graphite, this neck will remain stable even in differing temperatures and conditions, meaning you won't have to tinker with your setup very often at all. 

A compound radius fretboard is an excellent, high-end feature of this instrument. Rounded at the lower end of the neck to make chords easier and more comfortable to play, the fretboard flattens out in the higher register to make shredding a total breeze. This also helps to prevent notes from fretting out when performing string bends, making it a very ergonomic design.

Electronics

This high-performance instrument is powered by a pair high-output Jackson humbuckers, versatile enough to handle high doses of gain whilst also offering warm, luscious tones with clean settings. 

With a three-way switch you can get the pure, unbridled bite of the bridge pickup, the smooth and creamy tone of the neck pickup for leads, or a combination of both for balanced-sounding cleans.

A stylized take on a classic single cutaway form, the SCX features a 24.75" scale length, mahogany body with an arched zebrawood top, speedy one-piece set maple neck construction with a pair of graphite reinforcement rods for stability and a 12”-16” compound radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays.

A pair of Jackson high-output humbucking pickups powers this engine of musical mayhem, generating complex tones for pristine cleans or punchy distortion
while retaining note clarity. The Jackson fully adjustable radius compensated TOM-style bridge creates perfect intonation along the entire length of the neck to ensure complex chords ring true while the anchored tailpiece and die-cast tuning machines work in harmony for tuning stability.

Available in Natural, the SCX cuts an elegant figure with single-ply white binding, black hardware and a scarfjointed 3x3 AT-1 headstock for optimum break angle at the nut and straight string path for slip-free tuning.
