The TK Audio BC1-THD offers smooth stereo bus compression for mixing and tracking. With high-quality, transparent compression, the BC1-THD is an ideal tool for tightening up your mixes without compromising your original tone. With a range of controls and modes, as well as three switchable sidechain HPF (high pass filter) frequencies, the BC1-THD gives you the tools to shape the character of the compression to suit your needs.
The BC1-THD offers transparent compression, which means it won’t colour your tone as some other compressors do. This way you can take advantage of the compression to rein in your dynamics without affecting the tone you’ve crafted.
The BC1-THD offers a range of controls and modes to help you sculpt how the compression interacts with your signal. The front panel features controls for compression threshold, compression ratio, attack, and release. With these controls, you can shape when the signal is compressed, how much it is compressed by, and the speed at which it compresses and uncompresses. There’s also a make-up control which lets you compensate for any quietening that can occur from compression. The final control is a blend control which allows you to mix the dry and compressed signals together so you can choose how much of the original dynamics you want to keep with the compressed sound.
The BC1-THD also has a couple of modes that change the characteristics of the compression. The THD mode adds more harmonics for a richer sound and the Grab mode switches to a harder compression knee for a less gradual, and more aggressive transition between uncompressed and compressed sound. The sidechain functionality on the BC1-THD is also impressive thanks to the switchable HPF which you use can to set the number of low frequencies you want to be filtered out so you can make sure the sidechain compression is suited to the application you’re using it in.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
