iZotope Creative Suite 2

The latest iteration of iZotope’s Creative Suite now features Stutter Edit 2! Creative Suite 2 gives you 5 iZotope plugins from effects to virtual instruments that open up new creative avenues for your music. Creative Suite 2 features: Stutter Edit 2, VocalSynth 2, Iris 2, Trash 2 Expanded, and BreakTweaker Expanded.

Stutter Edit 2

iZotope’s Stutter Edit 2 improves on its predecessor by introducing new features to give you even more sounds and control than before. Stutter Edit came from the mind of Grammy award-nominated musician BT and was developed by iZotope to give you that famous stutter effect at just the press of a button. With Stutter Edit 2 you can play the stutter effect like an instrument, making it much quicker and easier to achieve a rhythmic and musical stutter effect.

New features to Stutter Edit 2 include the Curve Editor for shaping effects, new effects modules, new banks and gestures, a new UI for improved workflow, and a new AUTO mode.

VocalSynth 2

For shaping and colouring vocals, there’s VocalSynth 2. VocalSynth 2 features five blendable effects and seven stompbox-style effects. With these, you can create realistic harmonies, retro-talkbox sounds, futuristic glitchy vocals and more. You can even process non-vocal sound sources and give them vocal qualities like nasality and vowel sounds.

Iris 2

Iris 2 is iZotope’s sample-based synthesiser. Create unique sounds by mixing up to four audio files at once or up to four oscillator generator sounds. You can even mix them both together to get the best of sampling and synthesis together. Once you create a new sound you can shape it using the spectral editing, modulation, and effects built into Iris 2. 

Trash 2 Expanded

Trash 2 is a powerful distortion engine featuring multi-band, dual-stage distortions with advanced post-filtering. With over 60 distortion algorithms and over 20 filter types to choose from, there are a wide range of distortion sounds possible in Trash 2 and not just for guitar and bass, you can use it for vocals, synths, and much more. Included are the expansion packs Edge Expansion and Classic Textures

BreakTweaker Expanded

Another collaboration between BT and iZotope, BreakTweaker takes drum machines to the next level. Combining sampling and synthesis, create your drum sounds and add effects using the Generator, then program beats using the Sequencer. From there you can use BreakTweaker’s MicroEdit Engine which can divide up each step into slices which can be shaped and altered to create some truly unique sounds and rhythms. BreakTweaker Expanded includes four expansions: Cinematic Textures, Kicks & Snares by Beatport Snares, Modern Grooves by Black Octopus, and Vintage Machines.
