Bad Cat have been making professional-level, hand-wired, boutique amps in the USA since 2000, building a reputation for their high build and sound quality. The Classic Deluxe 20 Head is no exception; based on the 6V6 "Blackface" amp circuit, the Classic Deluxe is punchy with crystal clear yet smooth clean tones and capable of breaking up into warm, organic overdrive - classic American amp tones.
Sound
The Classic Deluxe gets a lot of its tonal character from the 6V6 power amp valves. These tubes are commonly associated with many classic American amps, known for their impressive clean tones and pleasing overdrive. The Classic Deluxe can produce sparkling clean tones without harsh, ice pick highs making things unpleasant. Smooth and crystal clear, the clean tones in this amp make it great for jazz, blues, and country styles. While the clean tones are excellent, this amp is more than capable of getting dirty. Push it hard and those 6V6s will break up into a warm natural overdrive that's perfect for classic- and blues-rock.
This amp also features built-in valve spring reverb for adding a little extra life to your tone whether you're looking for retro twang or something more ambient.
Controls
The Classic Deluxe is a pretty straight forward amp with just one channel and a simple control panel of Volume, Treble, Bass, and Reverb - no messing around with endless controls and unnecessary features, this amp gives you just what you need for great tone. There are a few quality of life features such as a Footswitch output for truning the reverb on and off via an external footswitch, as well as an onboard FX loop which allows you to place certain effects (usually modulation) in between the preamp and power amp sections of the amp - especially useful if you like amp distortion but don't want to distort your modulation effects.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.

Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
