Armand Zildjian was born in 1921 and went on to become the head of Zildjian, inheriting the company from his father Avedis Zildjian III. This continued the family tradition of passing down cymbal crafting secrets and techniques that had been amassed over generations. So, to celebrate what would have been Armand's 100th birthday, Zildjian have announced this stunning Limited Edition Cymbal - taken from the storied Zildjian family vault. This is the first ever release of its kind.
Inside the Vault
This room contained 200 authentic '40s and '50s classic A Cymbals sourced from Armand's very own collection. Each one was cherished not just by Armand himself, but by many different members of the family over the years too.
Masterful Manufacturing
They were meticulously produced in Zildjian's original factory based in Quincy, Massachusetts. The result is a group of cymbals which boast the same vintage sonic and visual hallmarks that put the brand on the map.
As they were made around 80 years ago, the cymbals feature unique characteristics and slight differences between one another. This was common at the time due to the manufacturing methods of the period. As a result, every single cymbal is a true one-of-a-kind!
Extras Included
The cymbal is packaged with a pair of Armand Zildjian Signature Drumsticks, a pair of gloves, a book delving into Armand's life, and a numbered and signed certificate of authenticity. All of these are stored inside a seriously durable Calzone road case.

If you want to own a real piece of drumming history, then you'll have to act fast! With only 100 pieces available in the United States, and another 100 reserved for the rest of the world, drummers and collectors will be itching to get their hands on them.
