Construction
A Mahogany body provides a strong low-end thump, with plenty of bold mid-range to let notes really pop and get heard in a busy mix. Adorned with a Poplar Burl Top, this gives the bass a sharper top-end to deliver more definition and clarity.
The 5-piece Jatoba/Walnut neck is super-sturdy, with its multi-piece design making it less susceptible to warping in differing temperatures. The bolt-on construction will ensure a snappy response, giving your playing a fast and precise attack, especially with finger playing.
The party piece of this instrument is its multi-scale design, with ergonomic 'fanned' frets. The biggest advantage of a multi-scale neck is that the string tension will be higher on the low strings to give you a tighter sound with practically no audible flabbiness. This also improves intonation across the fretboard, with notes sounding more in-tune.
Electronics
A pair of premium Bartolini BH2 pickups will ensure that all of the excellent tonal qualities of the woods are translated. With a pure, high-definition sound, these pickups sound very vibrant and punchy, versatile for a raft of different musical styles.
With Ibanez's own electronics, you can easily control and manipulate your tone. A onboard 3-band EQ will allow you to sculpt the perfect bass sound, along with a 3-way mid frequency switch and a bypass switch if you want a pure, unaffected sound.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
