    Product Description

Here's what Morley says about the 20/20 Wah Lock Pedal:

The Wah Lock is our most versatile wah pedal. Do you want the ease of switchless activation, but also the ability to cock it? Say no more... the Wah Lock mode emulates a fixed position wah, giving you both. The third WHOA mode also shifts the envelope over to give you a deep vocal-like wah sound, which is great for high gain, horns and bass guitar.

    Key Features

    • Switchless, optical wah with three wah modes: Wah, WHOA and Wah Lock
    • 20db boost is functional is all three wah modes.
    • Wah is set for standard Morley wah tone, WHOA is exaggerated wah tone with gritty vocal-like overtones, and Wah Lock emulates a fixed position wah. Notch knob dials in the frequency.
    • Wah Lock works with both Wah and WHOA modes.
    • New 20/20 buffer circuit that prevents signal loss and maintains tone.
    • Silent switching to prevent pops and noise.
    • 6.85″ x 4.5″ x 2.5″ (L x W x H)
    • Powered by one 9-volt battery or optional Morley 9V adapter. Compatible with most 9V adapters.
    • MQ2 custom inductor, dual LED indication, cold-rolled steel housing, quick clip battery door, glow-in-the-dark treadle grip/toe-end logo.

I had been looking for a switchless wahwah pedal for a while since I am useless at engaging/disengaging using the tradiaional original design. For some reason, this wahwah pedal never came up from the search in Anderton's website when you put Switchless in, but, it did appear in a web search. I was able to get a small discount from loyalty points, but it was about the price that I was finding other second hand Switchless pedals, but without having to drive two hours to get it. It just works. Classic wah, the additional woah mode, and the wah lock that puts it in a cocked mode. Very versatile pedal. Lovely.

First Morley pedal, to replace a crackly 35-year-old Cry Baby clone. Although classed as a mini pedal, it's a nice enough size to accommodate your foot. Solid construction, and so versatile. It's 3 pedals in one with 2 buttons to give alternative sounds.

Versatile in its sound and smooth in operation, this pedal is exactly what I was looking for. The construction is strong and I expect it to last a long time.

I absolutely love this pedal. The sound, concept, great! Now I need to get one of the volume pedals as well by Morley, can’t wait until it’s in stock! https://youtu.be/RcFvJB5T9wg

It has quite a different feel compared to many classic designs but excels with it's modern features. It might be better for distorted tones.

Excellent pedal, switchless means no clumsy push forward to engage the switch and the wah lock function is awesome for picking a tome mid sweep and locking it in. The woah function is a bonus, good combined with Fuzz and I can imagine it working well with Bass. Only downside is it devours batteries but so does every other Wah I've tried, the glow in the dark really pops making it easy to locate on a dark stage. Seems well built and very smooth to operate.

Bought this to use on bass, morely told me via their Instagram that this is the closest of the 20/20 line to my old dual bass wah and they weren't wrong. Sounds awesome and the lock function will, I think, come in really useful when were are allowed to start gigging again.

Product was not usable out of the box. The first 3/4 of travel on the pedal and no change to the signal, then go a tiny bit more and FULL WAH! I had to find info on Morleys website, then open the pedal and adjust the light transmitter/receiver. Pedal now works as it should, however, to my ear, not as pleasing as a Dunlop wah. Very poor quality control from Morley.
