Mojo Hand FX have got their overdrive game down. For the Extra Special Overdrive, they've boosted the gain and added a jazz/rock voicing switch, inching you closer to the boundary between overdrive and distortion.
Clarity is crucial when it comes to overdrive pedals if you're looking to compliment the front end tone of your amp, and the Extra Special comes with bundles of it...but don't be ashamed to admit that you don't mind a bit of fur in your tone from time to time. The jazz/rock toggle can take some of the glistening edge off the drive and adjusts the mids very slightly, which at higher gain settings provides you with all the boost you need but with a little less harshness and a warmer emphasis on the low end. Perfect if you're looking for an always-on complimentary drive that can be pushed a little further if needed!

The Extra Special takes the idea behind the highly successful Mojo Hand FX DMBL and cranks it to eleven. The Extra Special excels at the medium to higher gain tones associated with those legendary amps. Don’t be fooled though, it’s no “one trick pony." It boasts a nice range of usable sounds, from clean to mean.
Controls include the standard Volume, Gain, and Tone knobs, along with an Accent knob that acts much like a Presence or Contour control. It also features a 2-way toggle for Jazz or Rock voicings. Like all Mojo Hand FX pedals, it comes in a sturdy, die-cast aluminum enclosure with true bypass switching, powder-coated finish, and UV printed artwork.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
