Product Description

What's the point in spending time and money building the perfect pedalboard if your not getting the most out of your pedals? A good power supply is the foundation for any good pedalboard. Without clean, isolated power, you'll get unwanted noise and your pedals will sound dull. The Mission Engineering 529X allows you to power 8 outputs with enough power to get the best out of each and every pedal!

Key Features

8 Isolated Power Outputs - The single most important thing to have in a power supply is isolated power. Because each pedal will be supplied independently of everything else in the chain which means it can draw as much current as it requires, and more importantly you won't get any grounding or noise floor issues that are common with sharing power, causing excessive hum. Although some power supplies offer more than 8 outlets, few can boast 8 isolated slots.

500mA of current - Even among the most powerful digital reverbs and delays, you will find few pedals that draw more than 500mA of current, so with all 8 outputs, you can rest assured that you're getting the most out of your pedals!

High Current 1A output - On the rare occasion that you are running an extremely powerful Multi effects processor or modeller such as the Line 6 HX Stomp or TC Electronic Plethora, the 529x comes with custom, colour coded cable that can pull up to 1A (1000mA) of current, and still leave 4 isolated outputs for your other favourite stomp boxes!

9V or 18V - Although the vast majority of pedals run on 9V of power, perhaps you have that one special pedal that takes 18V. The 529X includes an adaptor cable, capable of chaining to outlets into one pedal, juicing it with the full 18V.

Compact Design - Measuring in at only 1" x 4.6" x 2.75" (H x W x D) and just 6oz, the 529x is one of the smallest power supplies on the market, so you can discretely mount it on the underside of almost any pedalboard with ease, allowing space on top for more pedals! Perfect for travel boards and fly rigs.

Here's what Mission Engineering say about their 529X 8 Output Isolated Power Supply

The 529X is a compact, flexible effects pedal power supply that can power both low and high current devices up to 1000mA. Each of the 8 outputs can provide 500mA at 9V (4.5W) up to a system maximum 16.8W, for use with regular analog and digital pedals. Use the supplied parallel cable to power high current devices such as modelers and multi-effects up to 1000mA.

The 529X can be used anywhere in the world with the included international wall adapter, or used along with the Mission 529M to silently power your board from compatible USB-PD sources such as USB chargers and power banks. All of the 8 outputs are isolated to ensure quiet operation with even the noisiest of digital pedals. Nine LED’s indicate the status of input and output power, showing green for normal operation and turning off when disabled or to indicate a fault condition.

With eight low noise isolated outputs, high current output, battery, and USB capability in a compact 1”, 6oz enclosure, the 529X is the ideal power supply for lightweight pedal boards and fly rigs.
