Product Description

The Dual Super Lead amps have long been a staple of the Marshall range, since launching in the '90s to great critical acclaim. Known for their ultra-versatile sound as well as their surprising proficiency with high-gain sounds, they eventually came to be hailed as a modern classic. Now Marshall have unveiled the latest generation of DSLs - offering everything you loved about the originals but with several tweaks aimed at the modern player!

Those familiar with the DSL legacy may have noticed that the DSL20HR is a brand new addition to the range; 20 watts is a big step up from the 5-watt models, offering punchier, pronounced levels that may well do the trick for small-venue gigging!

As with the other models, you've got two channels at your disposal: classic gain and ultra gain, both of which do exactly what they say on the tin! The classic gain is warm but clear, and extremely responsive to adjustments, whereas the ultra gain allows you to tip into that full-pelt Marshall distortion that's so widely adored. This model, however, introduces presence and resonance controls, allowing yet more tonal tweaking; tame the Marshall drive to suit your own style, or use them to push your cleans into uncharted twangy territory!

You've also got the same Softube-designed emulated output, which allows top-class cab simulation for direct-out recording. You can even disconnect your cabinet for fully silent recording or practicing!

Great amp at a great price. Gets all the 80s rock tones and with a couple of pedals added to it gives a vast array of tones

Marshall DSL20HR Sound performance, quality, experience all round fantastic, Brilliant value for the price. Recommend to anyone wanting they're first valve amp as able to play with out disturbing anyone due to the low 20w power and the 10w power output options. perfect for bedroom levels.

The amp is perfect for my home studio, not too loud and sounds amazing. I'm very happy with the build quality and think it is a good contender for a less expensive 20W tube amp. I hope it lasts me for many years to come.

Works great as a pedal platform in the classic gain channel, still undecided as to whether I like the ultra gain channel though. Overall its a good amp.

I bought this as my first gigging amp as Marshalls always sound good loud, my main concern was whether or not it sounded good at bedroom volumes as well which it 100% does. You'd be hard pressed to find a better valve head at the price
