Precision Shell Engineering
Pearl are one of the leading percussion companies for a reason. It's their attention to detail that sets them apart from their peers. That commitment to quality is on full display here. Every single shell has been precision-bevelled, resulting in a 45° bearing edge. This improves both the resonance and projection of each shell. A thinner (reinforced) build then leads to enhanced low-end, punchy mids, and a strong attack - all encased with that classic, vintage tone.
OptiMount Suspension System
This innovative technology is integrated within each of the rack toms. Instead of attaching to the shell, these smart, low-contact mounts connect to the tension rods. This doesn't just make them incredibly stable; it allows the shell to resonate fully too.
Chrome Hardware
Carefully selected hardware not only improves the look of these drums - it offers behind the scenes benefits too. In this case, enhanced sustain, resonance and stability. Low-mass, FatTone hoops have been applied to each drum here. They improve the quality of your sound all without harming the level of projection. Bridge lugs then reduce contact with the shell, increasing resonant qualities across the board.
