The Dreadbox NYX is a duophonic and paraphonic synth that's got a rich and warm tone created by a fully analogue system with through hole components. The NYX actually has quite a few similarities to the well loved Dreadbox Erebus, however the NYX has a few extra features up its sleeve; for one the filter section has the option of high-pass and a new selection of envelope generators that dreadbox call modulators. Also instead of a delay control you get a new and unique reverb effect created by CTC (Crazy Tube Circuits). We love CTC's effects circuits, and this one is actually the same as found in the Splash MK3 Pedal!
The NYX also has a range of routing options between the oscillator and filter to get different vibes. the NYX is designed as a fully standalone desktop synth, but it's also semi modular, with a mixture of 15 different patch inputs and outputs that you can use. This combination gives you a vast playground of different tonal options and space for you to explore. The NYX is your ticket to get lost in a world of hearty analogue goodness; exploring the different controls to find that sound that makes you giddy with excitement!
