Marshall have dipped into the mid-20th century to bring us the 1959 100 watt hand-wired head in a stunning custom white finish. The Bletchley-based company have provided us with only the best quality amplification over the decades. This amp rejoices in its legendary status.
Sound
This English-built head oozes class and vintage tone. It's wired to the sweet sound of 60's classic tubes. Jimi Hendrix, Pete Townshend and countless other guitarists toured with the famous Plexi amps.
The head is powered by four EL34 tubes for classic, instantly recognisable British crunch. It has a tight low end, punchy mids and screaming highs, which makes it a great choice for lead playing. The '59 is the definitive amp of a generation and this reissue does it justice. It's built by the top amp makers in the business at Marshall so you know you'll get faultless craftsmanship and superb reliability.
Two-channel
Marshall constructed the 1959 reissue with specs as close as possible to those used at the time. It has two channels, lead and bass, with separate volume controls. Bass is a semi-clean channel which, if cranked, will break up considerably. Lead is for all the roaring high gain tones that garnered its faultless reputation.
The 1959 also has four handy high or low inputs, two for each channel. So you can match the base gain output with how hot your guitar pickups are. There's no effects loop in sight, which means putting all your pedals in front of the amp as the greats did at the time.

How do I use instant finance?

You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
