Jim Dunlop Guitar Picks

Founded in 1965 by Jim Dunlop, the eponymous company has been a longstanding giant within the guitar community. Producing many different guitar accessories, including straps, strings and pedals; for decades Dunlop’s bread and butter has been guitar picks.

While their thin and flexible nylon plectrums have been favoured by acoustic players, arguably Dunlop’s flagship range is its Tortex line. Durable and affordable, Jim Dunlop Tortex picks are available in various thicknesses and shapes to suit certain playing preferences.

The Jim Dunlop Jazz III range is also highly-regarded. Acclaimed for their smaller shape and defined, sculpted tip; Jazz III picks are particularly popular with shredders as they offer a smooth yet precise feel. Available in different materials such as Tortex and Ultex, Jazz III picks can also be found within Dunlop’s premium Primetone series. Hand-burnished, these plectrums offer an even finer feel and supposedly enhance your guitar’s sound - hence the name.
