Lightweight Body

If you prefer lightweight guitars, you'll love this! A Poplar body gives the Squier FSR Classic Vibe '60s Jazzmaster a forgiving weight, making it an excellent live workhorse without sacrificing tone. This balanced-sounding material ensures robust lows, lively mids and crisp highs — the perfect tonal foundation for the Jazzmaster's chimey-sounding single-coil pickups.

Comfortable Neck

A bolt-on Maple neck adheres to the classic Fender formula, giving notes a fast and immediate attack. Shaped to a "C” profile, the Squier Classic Vibe Jazzmaster strikes the perfect balance between a modern and old-school feel.

The tasteful Laurel fingerboard provides a silky-smooth touch under the fingers too, with the 9.5" fingerboard radius and 'Narrow Tall' frets putting a more contemporary spin on the instrument.

Fender-Designed Pickups

The Squier FSR Classic Vibe '60s Jazzmaster achieves its jangly voice from its Fender-designed alnico single-coil pickups. With a punchy and articulate character, these medium-output pickups excel with clean amp settings but also sound dynamic and potent with overdrive. The various switches allow you to experiment with different tones and combinations too!

My first time to try a Jazzmaster and I am extremely impressed with the quality and particularly the sound from this guitar. This guitar is almost as good as guitars costing up to 7 times the price and I am really pleased with the guitar and it is inspiring to play. The only issue I had was a fret that was a bit high so needed to be sorted out but considering this is a £299 guitar that was okay. Tuning and intonation is very good and even has a bone nut that is impressive. I wish I had discovered the Jazzmaster before but it is a keeper and Squier have done a fantastic job! Love the purple sparkle and gold anodised pickguard too!

Great guitar which can be even better with heavier srings and better intonation and neck relief. The neck and the resonance from the guitar is very good, so this can be modded to offset heaven if wanted. Volume pot isnot great.

A Jazzmaster is what it is. Not a fast racing machine, but I want this special sound for recordings. The pickguard color looks awful, so I bought a white one to dress it up decently.

This Squier JM is a great guitar for it's price point. However IMO the fit and finish on these Indonesian CVs isn't up to par with the previous China made models. My guitar was basically OK, but had gritty frets, super dry fretboard and needed a good setup, there was also some finish issues on the purple body. So after an hour or 2 with fret erasers, lemon oil and toolkit it was much improved, and is now a really nice guitar to play. Plus point are, the pickups sound really good and the vibrato seems to keep all in tune and doesn't rattle. I see no need to upgrade anything on this guitar. It would be good if Andertons could offer an optional extra fettling and setup service for those who can't do it themselves. Overall, at this price, I can't really complain, I've seen Mex Fenders with similar issues.

i was honestly blow away when i played it. fret board edges were smooth and felt pretty rounded, no high frets no buzzing, good action, decent intonation, not one sharp fret edge! frets were a little rough and neck was a little dry, but nothing a few strokes of a fret eraser and fingerboard oil couldnt fix. will eventually change the trem to an american one because it is a little clunky ( but completely usable). will upgrade electronics when they start to crackle, i dont think i will change the pickups tho. they sound near as makes no difference to an american JM i have. DP and Capt'n werent overplaying how good these are.
