2020 Experience PRS Event
This highly-limited Modern Eagle V was created to commemorate the 2020 Experience PRS event, which was celebrated virtually in May as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. Here are a few words from Paul Reed Smith himself:
“While Experience PRS 2020 was unable to happen at the PRS Factory this year, it is important to us to still release the products we had planned to the guitar community. These Modern Eagle guitars are very sophisticated pieces of gear both electronically and mechanically. They are highly-musical instruments.”
Versatile Electronics
The limited edition Modern Eagle V is an innovative instrument that offers a vast array of tones for both recording and live performance. Utilising a flexible humbucker/single-coil/humbucker pickup configuration, PRS also introduced a new and unique switching system that gives players a versatile selection of tones from one guitar.
The 5-way blade switch selects the pickups just as the 509 model does (treble, treble and middle, middle, middle and bass, bass). The two paired mini-toggles separate the slug-side coils, turning the humbuckers into true, “TCI-tuned” single coils. There is a single volume and a push/pull tone control that activates both humbuckers when engaged; this allows players to access three pickups simultaneously.
Finally, there is a third mini-toggle that changes the volume pot value from 500k to 250k, which gives the guitar a different palette of voices. This electronics design puts a whole set of classic and new tones right at your fingertips!

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
