Made with a thick Mahogany body topped with Maple this guitar has a look that is familiar but not the same as what you may have seen before. This wood combination also keeps the vintage style tone in check with a warm low end that keeps your rhythm strong but enough bite for your leads to pop through the mix.
The neck uses a thick piece of Mahogany carved into their Fat Wide shape which is closer to what you might expect from a blues rock guitar. The scale length sends across a similar message as well at just 24.5" bends are incredibly

Here's what PRS say about the SE 245
For players looking for a classically voiced single-cutaway at a great price, the SE 245 is the answer. All your tones will be covered by the SE 245 Treble and Bass Humbuckers guided by two volume and two tone controls.
