Chase Bliss Audio Wombtone MkII Analog Phaser

The Wombtone by Chase Bliss Audio is a really interesting take on the Phaser. The tones are very much still vintage inspired from the 70's but the level of controllability makes it perfect for experimenters that want the next best thing in ambient or psychedelic sounds thanks to its 100% dry to 100% wet mix knob and a plethora of dip switches on the back giving you an incredible level of control.

2, 4, or 6 Stages of Phase

No matter if you just want a tweakable vintage style phase that has a real analogue circuit inside or if you want the next best pedal for getting incredible layers of phase in your deep, ambient mix there is something here for everyone. When set to 2 voices you get that really subtle phase that just sits underneath your guitar line, at 4 voices you get a bit stronger with an really audible but not over powering tone. Then in 6 voices the phaser really opens up to the world and when used with the amazing range of on board controls the sky really is the limit.

So Many Controls!

One of the things that Chase Bliss Audio does to nearly all of their gear is use real all analogue tone circuits with a digital brain. This brain is nowhere near the tone circuit but gives you extra control over every possible part of the pedal without it having to be as wide as your pedalboard. That is how they have managed to put 16 little dip switches on the back of the pedal so you can craft this pedal to be as vintage inspired or as absolutely crazy and modern as you want.

Here's what Chase Bliss Audio say about the Wombtone MkII

They just don't make phasers like they used to. This analog phaser pedal features an all-analog signal path with smooth, vintage tones that harken back to the 70's while retaining the ability to get plenty weird and psychadelic too. Wombtone mkII has a few upgrades, including a rare mix control that moves from full dry signal to pure phase vibrato as well as the ability to switch between 2, 4, and 6 stages of phase for all flavors of phase from barely audible to that full, syrupy swirl. Further, every knob and switch is connected to a little digital brain while your guitar signal stays 100%  analog the entire time and never gets digitally processed. Since the control of the effect is digital, it opens up unprecedented effects and features that have never been heard or offered in analog stompboxes.
