Product Description

Stepping onto the scene with their first offering, Redbeard Effects' Red Mist MKIV is a UK-made pedal that offers medium to high gain drive sounds with rich amp-like harmonic qualities. Featuring a highly-engineered custom enclosure, Redbeard Effects are making their mark on the map of guitar tone with their beautifully-crafted debut pedal; truly standing above its peers.

An entirely original circuit, the Red Mist MKIV promises to transform your clean or crunchy amp into an unapologetic high-gain machine. Projecting a distinctive voicing that cuts through the mix, due in part to its carefully-designed 100% analogue circuit and powerful active 3-band EQ, the Red Mist MKIV's wide and versatile gain range lets you attain anything from a spicy boost to a tight crunch; all the way up to a fierce and saturated metal sound.

Designed to seamlessly integrate into your analogue, digital or hybrid rig, the Redbeard Effects Red Mist MKIV includes modern features such as a compact yet durable chassis and top-mounted jacks for maximising pedalboard real-estate.

About Redbeard Effects

Redbeard Effects is the brainchild of seasoned rock guitarist and self-confessed rock 'n' roll gear head Mikey Demus; known best for his work with metal band Skindred. Based in the UK, Redbeard Effects is a young and ambitious company that offers hand-made and highly-engineered guitar pedals.

The brand proudly claims that subtlety is not its strong-point. Seeking to channel his 20 years of experience touring and recording into stompboxes with a difference, Demus' Redbeard Effects is bringing new and exciting tones to guitar players.

“I’ve always been inspired by effects that make you think ‘WOW!' when you stomp on them” says owner Mikey Demus. “We’re not looking to go where others have gone before. Whether you’re into blues, rock, punk, metal, ambience, pop, or making weird and wonderful noises - whatever your thing is, we’re here to push the envelope of what a pedal can do for you."
