The Dawner Prince Red Rox is an overdrive afficiniados dream. You simply can't go wrong with a distortion pedal that goes from clean amp-like tones to American high gain Rock n' Roll.
You can use the pedal as a clean boost or to fatten up your tone by pushing the preamp knob.
Why not use the volume control on your guitar as a gain boost with the pedal set to high gain? Why not set the pedal to your current guitar signal level, and use the pedal to colour the sound of your guitar?
Contour to cut through
The contour knob will allow you to dial in very specific lead or rhythm sounds depending on your role in the band. You can use the contour to scoop the mids for fatter riffs or you can push the mids to cut through the band mix. This means you won't have to use an EQ pedal after your distortion to dial in a soaring lead tone.

It can deliver anything from pure clean tones all the way to a grease-melting distortion.
MASTER controls the output volume level. You can adjust Red Rox to the same volume as your bypass signal (unity gain) or volume it up for a whole lot fatter tone - there is plenty volume on tap!
CONTOUR controls the frequency emphasis overall. In the middle position is balanced presentation of the overall frequencies; clockwise it becomes midrange-pronounced and counterclockwise it becomes midrange scooped.
TONE controls the frequency emphasis on the highs coming out of distortion section. Top end frequencies can be easily adjusted to your own taste.
PREAMP controls the amount of distortion in the signal. On minimum setting Red Rox acts as an ultra clean booster. Cranking it up will take your guitar sound all the way to a full, fat and thick distortion - there is a great deal of flexibility.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
