This is the Formula 5F6 from Catalinbread, a beautiful drive pedal designed to become the foundation of your entire rig with beautiful 50's tweed tones. This pedal has been set up to respond just like a real valve amplifier so you can chuck whatever you want into the front of this pedal to completely transform your tone.

50's tweed tones will always be popular with pop, rock, country and blues guitarists all utilizing these vintage amps to get some beautiful clean and mildly overdriven sounds. There is a second mode built in to this amp however that turns this light gain pedal into a snarling beast with much more gain and a modified tone stack to suit.
You can switch between these 'Stock Bass' and 'Secret Lead' modes using the internal dip switch. While inside the pedal if you are switching modes it is a good idea to modify the presence control to match your amplifier so you don't suddenly start getting harsh high end.
Externally you have access to the normal selection of amp like controls with Volume, Gain, Treble, Middle and Bass providing you a lot of control over your new sound. The controls are set to respond quite closely to the original settings you would use on the amps this is based on so you can quite easily take your settings to the real deal.

What we did with the Formula 5F6 was reproduce the key circuit elements of the Bassman ""5F6"" preamp circuit's bright channel using JFETs instead of tubes and then ne-tuned and rened it for ultimate low to medium gain response in front of any good amp set clean. You get the same preamp structure (gain stage -> volume control -> gain stage -> tone stack) as the Bassman, key to getting not just the tone, but the feel and
response right.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
